This Privacy Policy describes how Sweet Slumber ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Sweet Slumber mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: your email address and display name when you create an account (via email/password or Google Sign-In).
• Sleep data: sleep sessions you log manually within the app, including start time, end time, and duration.
• Child profiles: your baby's name, date of birth, and any notes you add. This information is entered by you and is never shared.
• Usage data: basic analytics about how you interact with the app (e.g., which screens are visited), collected anonymously through Firebase Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's core functionality (logging sleep, showing history and trends).
• To sync your data securely across your devices.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., password reset) necessary for account management.
• To improve the App based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Google is certified under ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, and other industry standards.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is protected by your account credentials and Firebase's security rules, which restrict access strictly to your own account.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may process your data as part of delivering the service:

• Google Firebase — authentication, cloud database, analytics. Privacy policy

5. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for use by parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The child profiles you create (name, date of birth) are provided by you as the account holder and are used solely to personalise your experience within the app.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (sleep logs, child profiles) will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access: request a copy of your personal data.
• Correction: update inaccurate data directly within the app.
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format.
